From Meeting To Marriage

The Day They  First Met!! 

Ruth 2:5-11 Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?

6 And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:

7 And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.

8 Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:

9 Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.

10 Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?

11 And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

Do you remember the day you first meet the man or woman that you are currently in love with? How did it happen? Where did it happen?  Did you ask yourself who is this man/ woman? I must get to know them better. Then came the pursuit! She has to be mine! They have to be mine! I want to build a relationship with them and see where it goes. Boaz saw Ruth that day in the field and he wondered who she was he took interest in her because she was the woman that he wanted! Its like that show how i met your mother the man tells a long story of how he meet their mother. Well Boaz could later on share with their son Boaz about the days when he first met Ruth! 

He Found His Wife 

Proverbs 31:10-11 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.  The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

When a man knows a man knows. Bro this is my wife!!! Yeah woman are all about the wedding. We are all about the romance. Yet its different from a man knowing she is the one than when the man knows she is the one. I have found her the one i want to spend my life with. Boaz knew Ruth had lost her husband, he knew that she only had Naomi, he knew about her life. It was told to him. He wanted her! He had found his wife. There was no doubt about it. Yet they where not married Yet!! They hadnt even made that step. Its like When Jacob first layed eyes on rachael. Genesis 29:10 And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother's brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother's brother, that Jacob went near, and rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother.11 And Jacob kissed Rachel, and lifted up his voice, and wept. He knew that he had found his proverbs 31 woman he knew he had found his wife!

45 “But before I had finished speaking in my heart, there was Rebekah, coming out with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down to the well and drew water. And I said to her, ‘Please let me drink.’46 And she made haste and let her pitcher down from her shoulder, and said, ‘Drink, and I will give your camels a drink also.’ So I drank, and she gave the camels a drink also.

When the servant had found Rebekah he knew she was the one for issac. He knew that the Lord had prospered his way. You are the one. I've heard that before and to hear that is so amazing. To know that your someones one! The person they want to spend their life with. How do you know. Well you just know. The servant knew it was just what he had prayed for and God sent him to it. If you havent found the one pray for that one! God may send you what you been searching for..Then all thats left to do once you find that one is well Get married!! 


They Are Finally Getting Married

Genesis 29:28-30 And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.29 And Laban gave to Rachel his daughter Bilhah his handmaid to be her maid.30 And he went in also unto Rachel, and he loved all so Rachel more than Leah, and served with him yet seven other years.

Jacob waited 7 years to marry Rachael and then another 7 years! 14 years for one woman! Thats love! I can only image when they finally got married. Omgosh finally it took forever. Everyone knows how much Jacob loved Rachael and everyone knew how much Rachael loved Jacob. Its like that couple that your like just hurry up and get married already you guys have been together long enough or keep running back to each other... Just tie the kNot! And then the time came.. they finally got married!
