I think you love me..but idk

You know I love you.. Do I?



John 21:15

15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”


It's one thing to say you love someone its another to actually love someone. Ive had many people say they love me over the years but love is something you do not just say.  So as much as they said they loved me it didnt matter because their do was not showing love. But you know i love you ummm no i dont actually. I dont know that you love me at all. I have no security in knowing. Nothing says hey i love you and actually makes me believe it.
Love is an Action

 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

Love is an action and if there is no action of love then there is no love. You can say i love you all day but unless you show it there is none. No phone calls no text no communication, someone doesnt want to be around you being around you seems like more of a chore or a complaint...... WARNING NO LOVE! MORE LIKE HATRED! When someone loves you you know they make time for you, they love being around you, they make it known by not just word but actions as well. You can tell between the two.. but trust me its better to  not force love on someone who doesnt love you because you will hurt yourself. 

 One-sided love

Being in love hard. I know first hand. Love is a sacrifice so a sacrifice something is given up. The bible says in John 3:16 for God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believes in him should not perish but have ever lasting life. He gave son and his son went to the cross to bear the sins of the world.
