Reconcilation Day: With The Prodigal!
Lets get back together
Luke 15: 17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father.
The Bible says that the prodical came to himself. He realized that he needed relationship relationship with the father. Let's get back together its like realizing that you need love from the one that has always loved you. The only thing is is hoping that they want the same thing that you want. I have made up my mind I've came to myself let's get back together
Will You Accept Me Back?
Luke 15:19
19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants.”’
The question is will you accept me back. In the Process of Reconcilation the only way you can reconcile is if you accept the person back. It is your choice it is not anyone elses choice. A person can want to come back in your life all they want to but if you dont want to take them back then they cant be in your life. The prodigal wanted to come back and it was the fathers choice on if he would take the prodigal back
Taking back the prodigal
Luke 15:20
20 So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
Today is reconciliation day!!!! I have a prodigal in my life and if he came back today all would be forgiven and we move forward. The father took back the prodigal he sinned he lived a prodigal life wasteful meaningless life. But he got tired did he deserve forgiveness no but that's the amazing thing about grace and mercy and forgiveness you don't deserve them but when they are offered to you its a beautiful thing. Second chances are real. Today we take back the prodigal
