Being Equally Yoked!
All You Have to Do is Agree

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Today I was Updating a program on my computer. It asked me to accept the terms and agreements. I had to hit I agree to continue the process. If I stopped pressing agree then I no longer got to continue on installing the program!!! When two people are walking together in life they have to keep agreeing that this is what they want. To keep moving forward. If they can't agree they can not work together. No this does not always be a yes man or a yes woman. Yet in order to walk together in life all you have to do is agree!
Being Equally Yoked!!
Jeremiah 27:2 Thus saith the Lord to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,
So often in the bible we hear about not being equally yoked. Its hard to walk with anyone who doesnt believe even a Christian. Ive heard God tell me to take steps of faith before with people i will take the step of faith but they wouldnt believe me so they wouldnt even Christians. God would open the door for me and they'd look at me funny. The thing is even as Christians they didnt believe. Yes even Christians have a hard time taking steps of faith when God says move because it often seems strange outside of the world. Yet you must move when God says move if we are yoked together. Sounds funny but If the bible says something or God says something you may believe but another person may not. 2 Corinthians 6:144 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? An Unbeliever is someone who does not believe. Yokes were made for two cattle to work together to plow fields. They would do this as equals. Yet if one does not believe and disagrees in the path they are going together then they become unequally yoked because someone is in disbelief. How can two walk together if they can't agree. Disagreeing is believing it is the wrong path. With a yoke one person will try to carry the other person down one path no we should go this way when the other person will try to say no its really this way. Someones right and someones wrong. Yet in order for them to be equally yoked they have to choose the same path in agreement with each other.
A Mutual Relationship
Romans 1:11-12
11 I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— 12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.
Its one things to be in a relationship alone. Having to be there for yourself, while being there for the other person. Doing right by the other person as they do you wrong. Being a there for them when they need you but when you need them they are no where to be found. Yet Its wonderful when your mutually getting something in a relationship. Its like those yokes with the cattle if one cattle is not putting in his work then only one cattle will be working and things won't go the way they need to it needs to be mutual effort. I encourage you you encourage me im there for you you are there for me i love you you love me i take time for you you take time for me.
A Step of Faith Together!!
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
I believe its easier to take a step of faith alone then with someone else. Because you are trusting that they will continue to want to walk down this path of faith with you. It can seem scary will you keep on this journey with me? Will you keep agreeing this is what you want? Yet anyone who wants to be a team or have a relationship needs to know when your moving forward together it requires taking a leap of faith together. You must both agree this is what you want. The time is NOW! Do you have faith to take this step? Do you have faith to do it together? Do you agree?
