Hosea 3:1-3
Then said the Lord unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the Lord toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

Hosea had already been down this road before. Lord you told me to marry a prostitute and she completely broke my heart! Now you are asking me to Go yet again and love her again. Man its hard after going through a break up or going through a hard time and trying to put your heart back on the line. Not only that its even harder when you have already been down that road with the person before. All the questions what if's and Maybe this might happen. You never know what could happen! You just have to take a step of faith and try to love again!

 Taking a Step of Faith Towards Loving Again! 

Hosea 3:2-3 So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:

In Order to move forward to be able to love again you have to take the first step. Hosea didn't have to love again his wife but he did he put his heart on the line. PAyed the price for her bought her out of slavery. Who knew how this would go this time. Yet he still took a step to start to love her again.

Getting SErious Again! 

Hosea 3:3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.

Serious: acting or speaking sincerely and in earnest, rather than in a joking or halfhearted manner.

Hosea took the first step by buying her back. Yet after that he made a deeper commitment to her. Its hard to love again. You don't want to put your whole heart on the line. You hold back places in your life that were rejected before. Yet not hosea he told his wife. Look I am serious I want this to be real I want you to be for me and I to be for you. So that is what he did he was for his wife and she was for him they got serious again!!

Focus on Whats Ahead!

Isaiah 43:18-19

18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

The only way you can start to move forward and start to love again is if you focus on things ahead of you. You can't focus on things behind you if your going to move forward. Don't think about the what if's take its day by day. God is going to be with you. He is going to do a new thing in your life so if you think things will turn out like they did before you are WRONG! things will be different this time!!

Love is not a feeling. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 4 Love is patient, love is kind.
