I can't do this Alone!

Dependent not Independent ! 

Hosea 3:3 And I said to her, “You shall stay with me many days; you shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a man—so, too, will I be toward you.”

a person who relies on another, esp. a family member, for support.

For me I have always learned to be pretty independent! I never had a guy take care of me. Even if they wanted to I wouldnt let them. Don't buy me anything, Thinking about living with a man is hard because someone else is helping take care of you. I mean I understand the concept with having parents that take care of you and pay the bills. Yet for me society INDEPENDENT WOMAN thing has really messed up my mind. Not only that having not seen a man love a woman in my family well that doesnt help either! To appoint where they live together help one another, support each other ect. Hosea told his wife to come stay with him many days. He wanted to love her and to live with him. For them to share what he had not just overnight like other men had done with her but many days share a life. As man and wife! Thats how its suppose to be. Not these one night stands not a woman taking care of a man. I look at how God is he takes care of me as if he was my husband and how he provides for me and does nice things for me. I am far from independent because I have learned to depend on him!

Having someone to depend on doesn't make you weak! 

Genesis 2:18-19

18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

God said it was not good for man to be alone So He made someone for Adam to depend on ! Someone who could help him. Did it make Adam weak because first he lived in the garden alone but then needed someone to help him no. It meant that everyone needs some type of help sometimes! Someone they could depend on! My grandmother has always been that person outside of God but other than that if she died tomorrow id be homeless and without anyone to really be able to truly say i could depend on other than God. Even after the fall in the garden Adam and Eve had each other to lean on because they both got kicked out of the garden but they had each other.

Team work! 

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.

10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.

11 Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?

Two are better than one because they can support each other. If one falls another can lift the other up. We often think doing things by ourselves makes us stronger yet if you fall you are weak but still someone who still has strength left in you when you are down can still help you up!Just Imagine going to sleep like Adam did and waking up with someone right next to you who is there to help you through life! Kind of like Boaz when He woke up on the threshing floor that night and Ruth said you are my kinsman redeemer. She was telling him hey I want to help you! You can redeem me. When you think about redemption its like him saving her. Like a damsel she needed help just as much as he needed help! We often think that its just one person who needs the help but its both. When people depend on each other they are both putting effort in doing things for one another. Thats what depending on someone is about. Some husbands depend on their wife to cook a meal for them each day just as some wives depend on their husbands to work and support their family. I know I work alot and run the shift at my job. I depend on the other people on my shift to help me get the work done as much as they depend on me to do my part. It is team work!

A Dependent Purpose !

Ruth 1:16-19 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.” 18 When Naomi realized that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped urging her.

19 So the two women went on until they came to Bethlehem. When they arrived in Bethlehem, the whole town was stirred because of them, and the women exclaimed, “Can this be Naomi?”

Ruth need Naomi as much as Naomi need Ruth. Do you know that it was Ruth helping Naomi that got the attention of Boaz. He told Ruth it has been told to me all the things you have done for Naomi and how you left your land. He saw how much he loved and was dedicated to her. Yet Naomi also need Ruth. Because Naomi says for everyone to call her Mara because she had a rough life and thought It wouldnt get any better. Yet because of Ruth and how her son Obed came into the world Naomi found purpose in life again and saw how wonderful God was again! When you have two people who have purpose together! THey need each other! Without each other the purpose God has for them can't be forfilled. Ruth needed Naomi as much as Naomi needed Ruth! Where Naomi was weak Ruth was strong and vice versa!! Their purpose was counting on one another!
