Why Are GoodBye So Hard?

Numbers 14:1-3

1And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.
And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!
And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

good·bye
interj.
Used to express an acknowledgment of parting.

Recently I have been saying Goodbye's to alot of things in my life. Yet I've been then saying hello to alot of things. When one door closes another door opens. Its like the Children of Israel as they waved goodbye to Egypt, or watched as the water return after crossing the Jordan only to enter into the promise land. Goodbye!Goodbye hard hearted harlot, goodbye fear of love hello love, goodbye. Sometimes goodbyes are very hard because you don't know how to let go of what you been holding on to for so long. Sometimes what your holding onto you have grown so fond to it you don't even realize that your holding onto it. The Children of Israel held on to Egypt before they headed into the promise land and Alot of them did not make it in their because they would not let go. Let Go of what kept them bound!

                                                      It's Time To Let Go!

Okay, It's time to let go. Seriously this is hard. What are you letting go of in order to move forward? An addiction? Lets dig a little deeper what causes your addiction that thing your addiction is covering up, maybe a rape, abuse, molestation?  Its time to let go of those inner pains that leak and cause outer actions. First you have to confront it this happened in my life. Yet I am here now! That is no longer my life I have overcome. I made it a Survived so now that you survived its time to say hello to living. Living with the thoughts of knowing what happened to you will no longer take over your life. Yet you will live free from trama, you will let go of old habits and replace them with new, you will move forward and say Goodbye to your past.

When It's not Easy to Say Goodbye

John 11:38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

When Jesus had gotten to Mary and Martha there had been a stone rolled over Lazarus grave. They had made sure they closed that Chapter in their life. Lazarus looked dead, his body had no heart beat. So many people do this in there lives to situations that seem like they have no hope in them. They roll a stone in front of them and carry on with their lives. Yet Lazarus was still behind the stone. Lazarus was sick before then so he never healed   Dont be the person who just rolls a stone infront of your issue. Yet do whatever you must to make sure your life changes.

Genesis 32:24-29
24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

Jacob wrestled with a man until day break. He was not going to let go until he was blessed. We need to learn from this we need to fight hard to get our healing, fight hard to get over our trama fight hard to get past the past. When the angel of the Lord blessed him he called him ISrael because he prevailed. He was no longer his carnal self but now he was the new man. Living a new life. Last night I was talking to someone who knew me from back when they told me it's like im two different people.  I have let Go of the past and started to embrace that this is who I am now! I have prevailed.

This is It im Closing This Chapter, Hello New Chapter!

Joshua 24:15

King James Version (KJV)
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Choose you this day!!! Joshua was making a choice to close the chapter of his past. He had seen God part the Red Sea, Seen him feed them faithfully with manna in the wilderness, seen God part the Jordan, He had seen God allow them to win battles in the promised land! So he was going to make a choice to close the chapter of his past and serve God. He was closing the Chapter to his past! This day he knew that he was here in this place, at that moment, in that time. He knew what he was going to do. His house would serve the Lord. He was closing the door of his past. That day was the day. Choose you this day will today be your day of closer from your past. So you can start embracing your future?
