Freely Give!

give

1.
to present voluntarily and without expecting compensation;bestow:

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Lately I've have seen a lot of people doing something that looks like a pay it forward. It's so exciting to me. So encouraging and very unexpected. When you think about Christ he freely gives love. He gave up his life for yours as a gift! Any gift that is given does not require you to pay a price because the price was already paid. You just have to receive what it is that is offered to you. Salvation is Christ free gift! The other day I was working and the there was this lady who came in well I had a coupon in my purse so I decided that I would  give her the coupon. She was so thankful for it, well then their was this little boy behind her who didn't have enough money and so she gave him the rest  of the money to pay for his stuff. She said you blessed me now I'm blessing him. It started a cycle! It felt so good to know that when you do good things for people other people will start to follow sometimes! Its like you reap what you sow! I was see what I had sown being reaped right in front of my eyes. Sometimes we have what others are in need of Just a little love! So why not give love away! God is love offer them Christ! Not only that but show them how much you value them and appreciate them just because not just because they are good to you but because you love them. Or maybe you don't know them but you want them to know that they are loved that there is someone out there who is still willing to show some type of kindness!

Freely Receive!

Re·ceive

Verb
  1. Be given, presented with, or paid
For some people it's easier to give then to receive. Sometimes its the opposite, sometimes it's both! For me it has always been hard for me to receive love because didn't want to receive something that would be taken away from me! A gift is given and is already paid for so all you have to do is receive it. Yet unlike the world God never takes back the things in which it is that he says we can have. Like  Christ once you receive salvation you are assured that heaven is your home.
John 10:28
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

See because God is giving us this gift of salvation through Jesus Christ we will never be plucked out of his hands and we shall never perish. Yet the only thing is you have to be willing to receive what it is that he is trying to offer you. You think about people who get offered free rewards cards to earn free points to win free things. Yet people deny the rewards points daily because they don't want the free things that come with the rewards they think there  is some type of catch. Yet there is not always a catch and with Christ there is no catch he is giving you eternal life if you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior!
Two Way Lane!

1 Samuel 1:11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

Love is a two way lane! A lot of people love God with their hands stretched out to him all the time. Lord can you give me this and give me that. What have you ever given to God? Has he received anything from you? Hannah offered up her son to the Lord she gave the Lord her son and the Lord gave her a son! Now sometimes people don't love like that but we should learn how to love in a way of being a two way lane! Giving and Receiving! It love is not just give, give, give and take, take, take it won't always be the same amount of give and take all the time but their has to be some type of exchange of give and take. It is not healthy if only one person is only giving constantly, and someone is only receiving constantly and vice versa.
You have Not Because You Ask Not
1 Samuel 1:20 Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the Lord.
Sometimes it's different sometimes people won't ask for anything of the Lord or even people! People can't read your mind! God knows but he wants you to ask! How can someone know what you want them to do if you don't speak up about what it is that you need them to do? A lot of people think you can read their minds. That is not so. Hannah received Samuel her son from God because she asked the Lord for him! She cried out in prayer. See the bible says her lips moved but she spoke from her heart 1 Samuel 1:13. Sometimes instead of   just beating around the bush or keeping things in we need to just speak from the heart. Hannah was pouring out something that really hurt her heart. She was going to ask the Lord because it was something she felt that she really wanted for her life. Nothing was going to change it. Yet if she had not have opened up her mouth and asked for it would she have received what it is that she had asked for?? No! But she received it because she asked! Just like Salvation how can Christ save you if you have not asked him to save you?
