Genesis 17:1-7

 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

God had told Abram in Genesis 15 that him and Sarai would have a son. Yet in the midst of their promise there was a bit of interruption. Sarai took things into her own hands and birthed an Ishmael(son of the maidservant). That's not what God had intended so God came back to Abram and wanted to renew his covenant to make it active again. Abram "hello just because you thought one way I still have my plan for your life you will be a father or many of nations." Have you ever did something wild and crazy in your life maybe ran away from God's plan like Jonah only to end up back in your destination that God wanted you to originally be at. It's crazy God's basically saying "okay so where did we leave off before we were rudely interrupted?"

  


                                        Lord Help My Unbelief

Mark 9:23-25

 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it: “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”

                         Sometimes life circumstance's happen, sometime we run, sometimes God has to teach us somethings on the way to were we are going. The children of Israel had to go through the wilderness experience before they could finally get to the promise land but their destination since God called them out of Egypt had always been the promise land! It just took them a while!Yet they made it their mind frame had to change from unbelief to belief. Fear or unbelief can often take the long way or have us stuck in circumstance's that we don't want to be in. 

 It took a man who's son was demon possessed to believe in an area which he had unbelief in for things to change. He said Lord i believe help my unbelief yes he believed in one area of his life but in the area of his son since he had been sick for son long he just gave up. The man's mind frame was in doubt that things could ever change for his son. We do this all the time we see things for so long that we believe that they will never change even if Jesus is in the midst of our situation and says he can change it we doubt. As we grow as Christians our faith has to grow in different area's you don't need faith for area's in your life that you are comfortable in. You need it for area's in you life that you are not comfortable in area's that look like impossibilities.



                                                 Transformation



Romans 12:2

 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.


God told Abram he was going to be father of many nation's when he had no children. His mind frame needed to be transformed because he was of old age and childless.  Impossibility was definitely their because Sarai was barren her womb was life less. Sarai laughed at God when she heard the news of being a mother with a barren womb how is this possible. Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Yet  once they had been tranformed by some things in life God was able to  give them what he had promised.


All it takes is a change of thinking going from unbelief to belief. When i first started this blog its called i stopped believing in love. Yet God worked on me to believe love existed not only in him but in other's. I was transformed to believe in love. When your minds transformed your able to move forward  to the next step in life. You think about any drug addict they can't move forward from their addiction until they realize they are a drug addict and need to change. Yet when they get renewed they are able to move forward and pick up where they left off before their drug abuse started sober and free.

 God showed up Lol 
                                                 

Genesis 21:1-7
 And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him. And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.
 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me. And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.



Sometimes when God shows up in our life your like well its about time Lord where have you been. We all know Sarah had waited along time she was old. Then God made her a promise and she still had to wait 25 years for her promise. God had made a promise to Sarah and finally her hour had come. God was like a doctor who made a visit and meet with her to fix her situation. Yet he couldnt fix her situation until she understood that she could do this that she could be there where he wanted her to be. It was the time in which God had spoken for her when he told her that she would receive what he had for her. From before that point all she couldnt produce anything she was barren and not fruitful. Yet that season in her life Sarah conceived not only did she conceive but she had her child. So Sarah laughd again but this time it wasnt a laugh out of Lord i can't do this but she laughed at Lord look what you can do! You brought life out of my barrenness!




So let's allow God to pick up where he left off before he got intrupted! Be renewed !
